OUR STORY

Birthed from a conversation around my grandmother’s dining table - Tambran House is an ode to a family-owned Victorian era property in St. Clair, formally known as “Cledor House” - a home for the aged.

The controversial topic at the table was around a lack of restaurants serving true Trinbagonian cuisine at a refined level. As Trinbagonians, we are easily influenced by external cultures and aesthetics; however, right here our cuisine and culture are so rich and diverse we can do almost anything.

At Tambran House Eatery, our vision is to present elements of our beautiful Republic, using local ingredients to tell stories and start conversations through our menu. We aim to create a space where persons can gather and bring tourists to experience a taste of Trinidad and Tobago.

We are beginning our journey through cocktails, drawing for local fruits, herbs and spices. On this road, we hope to provide professional services at intimate events and participate in food markets and pop-up shops across Trinidad and Tobago.

Our aim: …that Tambran House Eatery becomes a recognised industry name with the potential to expand its reach to include mobile bar and food truck services.
